Shannon Wescott and Hillary Vite of Texas Roadhouse in Pigeon Forge are putting together a Fundraising marathon on March 15th, 2013 at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge @ 8:00 a.m. for St. Jude (in Regen’s name). All proceeds will go to St. Jude. This will be an all day event. There will be different vendors at the event with all vendor proceeds/profits going to the Morris Family. Here are lists of different ways you can get involved:
* Start a team to walk for St. Jude (use the link at the bottom of the page to register and pay registration). There will be a $25.00 registration fee per team (which will go to St. Jude). Each team will be responsible for raising money for St. Jude Marathon. Each team will need to create a unique T-shirt for their walk. -Think green-Its Regen’s favorite color! There will be prizes for best team t-shirt, largest team etc. Deadline for registration will be March 1st 2013
* If you choose not to walk you can sponsor the event also by giving a donation to Shannon or Hillary for St. Jude. Any donation will be tax deductable- please get a copy of the St. Jude merchant/tax ID letter.
* Since Regen has so many people Rootin for him we thought there wouldn’t be a better way but show him how much he is loved by making a Quilt stitched with love made from T-shirts from all businesses who are Rootin for Regen. Only the cost to make the quilt will be taken from the proceeds, all other money collected will be donated to Regen’s family. This quilt will show him how his hometown loves him and that we all are ‘Rootin for Regen’. The quilt will be a wonderful keepsake for him and is something that will be used every day!
* We welcome anyone who would like to be a vendor in this event please contact Shannon Wescott or Hillary Vite at Texas Roadhouse in Pigeon Forge @ 865-286-1543
